…is my favorite place in the world. Did you know that the western prairies hold the most carbon second only to forests? The carbon sequestration of grasslands is, in some ways better than trees, as during the event of a wildfire, trees release their carbon back into the atmosphere, whereas, grasslands maintain the carbon underground. As our climate becomes warmer and drier, and more prone to fire, it pays to take care of our grasslands for healthy cattle and our environment. learn more here
